Emerging from the subconscious depths of the biblical imagery that filled my childhood, she emerged as a guardian and messenger: her many eyes embodying perception, awareness, and the unsettling experience of seeing something you can no longer unsee. Within Pandora’s Eye, she became part of a larger story about awakening and knowledge that cannot be reversed.

To me, she is a beacon. She holds that moment when revelation changes us- when another path becomes visible.

Each print is built in layers. Opacity is built up to hide the rainbow foil in some places and let it shine through in others. Raised texture and varnish add depth and catch the light. I wanted the piece to feel alive, shifting and revealing new details as you move around it, much like she does.
